About our name

M&Ms was born out of a passion to help ladies experience the joy and encouragement of meaningful fellowship. The name M&Ms was inspired by the Biblical account of the visit of Jesus to the home of Martha and her sister Mary. (Luke 10:38-42) Although they were sisters, they were very different. Martha was always busy serving while her sister sat at the feet of Jesus. Some are Mary’s and others Martha’s but all are important. There are those who like Martha become so weighed down and troubled with the busyness of life that they need to regain their strength by sitting at the feet of Jesus like Mary. The joy of service flows from a life that gives time to sit at Jesus feet.
